I slept to the lullaby of life..
Slumber woke me up into the heaven of my dreams..
Where my mind was the calm of breeze,
Vision was the clear of crystal..
Heart had the love of my dear
Life was the realization of my heartfelt desires..
And I slept my dream into life.

I woke up to the sweet smile of my mother.
The warmth of her touch melted my eyelids,
The jingle of her voice sang the grogginess away,
The care in her manners washed away any fears of uncertainty,
The spark in her eyes promised me the world of happiness.

I walked out into the shine of the Sun,
Soothing was the green of the grass
Pleasant was the hue of dawn sky.
Infectious was the chirpiness of birds,
Captivating was the innocence of early morning school going eyes.

The serenity of morning matched the flavor of nocturnal bliss,
Giving me the impetuous to live my wish.
I walked towards my dream
With gallons of confidence and efforts umpteen..

But when I thought the roses were around,
The thorn pricked and I couldn’t even make a sound.

It is the pain I have to bear
It is the wound that self has to nurse and care.
It is the war I have to fight,
It is the win that needs all my might.

So what if the road is dark,
My hope is my light..
So what if the time is harsh,
Deeds will race the time.

The prick of the thorn is hurting harder,
Instigating me to run faster..
To my world of dreams
Where there is heavenly beauty, yet unseen..

Ohh..I can’t bear the pain anymore..
I am dying to reach the shore
I am tired..but not out..
I will fight it out..
I will run faster and harder and faster
And soon life will be rose petals on platter..
And then I will say to my spirit..
‘Way to go dude…U have done it!!!!!’
